Palo Alto College ranked among top 10 online community colleges in U.S.

Palo Alto College was recently named seventh on a list of the top 60 online community colleges in the nation by Intelligent.com, a student-focused comprehensive research guide.

The College ranked in the top 10 with an Intelligent Score of 89.54 out of 100, and it also received an additional designation for having the "Best Certificate Programs."

The methodology behind the ranking system is based on program standings in leading college evaluators like U.S. News and World Report. Each college's online offerings are evaluated based on five factors which are tallied to produce an Intelligent Score: Program strength, online readiness, return on investment, cost, and student engagement.

To be considered for the ranking, each school must be an accredited public or private nonprofit institution and must offer programs that are fully online. Palo Alto College offers various online academic programs and courses to provide access to first-rate faculty and top-quality academics in convenient, flexible formats.
